It is interesting to note responses to the debate (for circ.) stemmming from concern regarding future health issues, none of which are proven. I also note that it is abhorrent to many societies to circumcise females. If a neonate female can have her rights protected, why must men have to suffer for an archaic cultural legacy from religions to which they might not subscribe. I would think that a better and more cost effective solution would be greater emphasis on parent and adolecent education, the results of which would be measurable, as opposed to superstition and speculation. I and the other male members of my family are all uncircumcised and have had no problems - maybe it's personal hygiene or education.
